SHOW REVIEW: Maggie Rogers - London, UK (11/10/22)

Solo artist, Maggie Rogers, graced the stage at the grand Alexandra Palace in London earlier this month. While Rogers performed in front of a sold out audience, the atmosphere maintained a comfortable intimacy throughout the night. The set began with favorites from her latest album, Surrender, such as “Overdrive” & “Want Want” while still paying homage to the beginning of her journey with 2017’s “Alaska” & “Dog Years.” It had been three years since her last appearance in London, so the energy within the theater was viscerally blissful, especially during ethereally anthemic tracks like “Light On” & “That’s Where I Am.” Performances so evocative, Rogers even found herself tearing up during “Horses” but managed to pull her way through from the overwhelming comfort & support emanating from the crowd. Maggie Rogers proved that night that she certainly knows how to captivate a room & make it her own.
