In The Mourning release new single, “if he wanted to, he would.”

LA’s neon green pop rock outfit, In The Mourning, are bringing in the new year with a second single as a group titled: “If he wanted to, he would.” Ever since last summer with their debut single, “At What Cost,” they quickly garnered dedicated listeners & a plethora of online attention. This follow-up single will be sure to attract even more.

“If he wanted to, he would.” is a darker, groovier track in comparison to their leading single, which is why it’s a great duality that showcases the band’s multifaceted soundscape. The lyrics shadow its tone with the internal frustration of not having someone reciprocate the amount of effort you put in to a relationship & knowing you cut them too much slack because of how much you like them. “A little too much forgiveness / Took advantage of my kindness.” Let this gritty rock anthem be our reminder that we deserve better and that if he wanted to, he would.
