Festival season is well underway and we’re all extremely excited for the first-ever Bleached Festival taking place at San Diego’s iconic Waterfront Park on August 5 and 6. We’re especially looking forward to the lineup, which features a variety of talented indie-pop and alt-R&B artists! Check out our list below of top acts that you won’t want to miss at this year’s festival.
Maude Latour
Three years ago, Maude Latour reached millions with her breakout single, "One More Weekend," and since then, she has released her first album, along with two EPs including her most recent EP, Twin Flame. Maude’s style can be described as dreamy and story-driven with an occasional alternative pop edge. Her music is refreshing, with addicting lyrics that you’ll definitely want to sing along to!
Jeremy Zucker
Jeremy Zucker is an indie singer-songwriter most known for his tracks "Comethru", "You Were Good to Me", and "All the Kids Are Depressed". His songs are honest, melodic, and introspective, and we’re especially looking forward to listening to his new 5-track EP Is Nothing Sacred? for the first time in person!
Lizzy McAlpine
If you’re on TikTok, you’ve probably heard a sped-up version of Lizzy’s hit song, “ceilings,” from her second studio album, Five Seconds Flat. We’re big fans of the album, which blends Lizzy’s heartfelt songwriting with delicate vocals, often accompanied by acoustic guitar and other instrumental arrangements. Lizzy's set is guaranteed to deliver incredible vocals while creating a cozy atmosphere.
Omar Apollo
Omar Apollo is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist known for his captivating performances and genre-blending style. With a fusion of R&B, soul, funk, and indie rock, Omar has carved a unique musical identity that sets him apart in the contemporary music landscape. His debut studio album, Ivory, was released in 2022, and the tracks flow together beautifully to create an incredible listening experience.
PinkPantheress
Known for her dreamy and ethereal style of music, PinkPantheress is a rising star who has gained many new listeners through her online presence and self-released tracks on platforms including SoundCloud and TikTok. PinkPantheress’s songs are immediately recognizable by her delicate vocals, lo-fi production, and gentle melodies. Her lyrics explore themes such as love, relationships, self-reflection, and personal growth. Her most recent release, “Angel,” contributes to the soundtrack for the upcoming motion picture Barbie as well.
