Jenevieve Flows Sublimely With Jordan Ward In “Waiting Room”

LA-based artist, Jenevieve, has been spreading her wings valiantly since her release of CRYSALIS last fall. iHeartRadio Music Awards nominating her as breakout artist of the year & selling out tours overseas is proof she’s floating in the right direction. This artistic metamorphosis also just recently unveiled a collaboration with R&B singer, Jordan Ward, in the latest single, “Waiting Room.”

Jordan Ward’s feature on this track complements Jenevieve’s style & voice beautifully. Mirrored in the single’s visualizer, they both glide alongside each other seamlessly. Their moments being reversed pays homage to The Pharcyde’s “Drop” music video, according to director Yanchi, while also cleverly nodding to Jordan Ward’s latest project, BACKWARD. Jenevieve’s layered harmonies create an ethereal atmosphere throughout the track which sets up Ward’s verse wonderfully— even pitched down a notch to match his tone.
