The Mysterines, traveling all the way from Liverpool, United Kingdom, played their first show in Los Angeles on Friday the 11th, and you could say it was a lucky night for the people who attended. Touring the US in support of AWOLNATION, The Mysterines have been making a wave. Friday night's show was no exception. Their music, which mixes some grunge, indie rock, and even some classic rock, makes their setlists sure to have you moving around! Playing songs from their debut album was a delight to hear live. “Under Your Skin,” “Dangerous,” “Life’s a Bitch (But I Like it So Much),” and “Confession Song,” to name a few were some of the new tracks that had some big crowd reactions. The band's energy seemed to be of a band who has been touring for years, with amazing stage presence, estetic, and just overall sound you would have never guessed they just released a debut album. It's easy to say that this indie-grunge quartet, in a few years time, will be selling out venues of similar size for their headlining tours. Opening for the Arctic Monkeys next year, be sure to check out The Mysterines next time they're in your city!
