Dream rockers, Pom Pom Squad, made their way back onto the Bartees Strange tour starting in Boston earlier this week. While on tour overseas just a few weeks before this run, the band’s van was robbed of all valuable possessions. Despite this immense loss, they persevered & gave Boston an unforgettable show. They kicked off the set with their grungy 2021 single, “Lux,” which immediately ignited crowd excitement. Lead singer, Mia Berrin, was constantly on the move— coordinating guitar moves with bandmates to posing proudly on top of the drum set. Fan favorites like “Head Cheerleader” & “Shame Reactions” from their album, Death of a Cheerleader, were performed with just as much energy & passion. We’re already looking forward to the next time Boston gets to host such a fun-filled show.
