Wolf Alice’s The Clearing World Tour landed at Boston’s House of Blues on September 20th, delivering a set that was sharp, passionate, and completely in command of the room. The band leaned into the strengths that have carried them from the underground to international stages; a refusal to settle into one mode. Songs shifted between quiet restraint and full bodied energy without ever feeling disjointed. Lead singer Ellie Rowsell’s vocals cut through everything with clarity. Controlled, precise, and still carrying the raw edge that makes the band’s live shows so gripping.

What was striking about this stop wasn’t just the music, but the audience. The crowd was unusually varied! Different ages, styles, and backgrounds unified in their intensity. People weren’t passively watching; they were fully engaged, singing along, moving with the band. Boston got a performance that was as tight as it was heartfelt, and the energy only suggests the band has sharpened with time on the road.
