Glass Beams

The Melbourne masked mysteries will bring a hypnotic mix of surf rock, disco, and psychedelia to enrapture Bristol this year. Their inaugural EP, Mirage, showcases why they have captured the attention of the world, and this will be on full display on the Sunday.

Greentea Peng

Injecting neo-soul with a heavy dose of spiritual, anti-establishment, and heavy, heavy bass. South London’s Greentea Peng brings her eccentric funky r&b to the Saturday lineup.

Jessie Ware

The Sunday night is for dancing, and who better to kick the crowds boogie shoes into gear than Jessie Ware. Riding high off the Mercury Prize Nominated, That! Feels Good!— she’s sure to bring the house down.

Yussef Dayes

One of the great jazz talents of our times Yussef Dayes and his incredible live band have been thrilling audiences across the world over the past few years. An afternoon spot on the Saturday is sure to be a memorable one.

Not only does the line up shine a light on the wider UK’s talent, but the bill also contains a quality selection of local Bristol artists. This includes producer and rapper Danny Chaska, lo-fi rapper Kwazii, psychedelic soul group Cousin Kula, and post-punk band knives.

Aside from the music, the festival offers a fresh creative space for discussion and debate in the form of the The Information stage. The two day festival will also see timely debate and conversation on The Information; providing an important platform for discussion and will be featuring a host of experts, disruptors, creatives, writers and thinkers such as Brian Eno, Mikaela Loach and Bashy.

Forwards Festival continues to live up to its name by focusing on forward-thinking alongside world-class music.
