Third Eye Blind are celebrating 25 years ‘in the blind’ on their latest tour run with Taking Back Sunday & Hockey Dad. On Saturday, the 16th, they stopped by the great woods of Massachusetts to give an unforgettable performance at the Xfinity Center amphitheater. The rustic wilderness theme extended into their stage setup, with a plethora of tree branches & sticks fashioned to support the ramps & backdrop. The elevation each riser allowed each member of Third Eye Blind to have their own kind of spotlight & recognition. They kicked off the set with a taste of a Screamer track, “Ways,” before shifting into full gear with a Self-Titled track, “Thanks a Lot;” providing the audience a whirlwind of excitement. The setlist catered well to longtime TEB fans as well as any newcomers, as they made sure to sneak in some of their latest songs from last year’s LP, Our Bande Apart, in-between the classics. The crowd’s energy was infectious & was even evident with the people all the way back on the lawn. There was certainly no better way to spend a hot summer Saturday night.
