With a Sophomore solo album, Faith In The Future, being released only a few months ago, rockstar Louis Tomlinson is leaving his mark in each city on his Faith In The Future 2023 world tour. Tuesday, July 25th, was Louis’ second show in a row at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway & we had the chance to attend the show in all its glory. Despite the unexpected pouring of rain prior to doors, fans were just as dedicated & enthusiastic as they were 10 years ago. Strobe lights announced the impending presence of Tomlinson & eventually led to him kicking off the set with the leading track on the new record, “The Greatest.” He still made sure to incorporate some fan-favorites from his debut album Walls as well, like “Kill My Mind” & “We Made It.” As beach balls flew intermittently amongst the crowd & flashlights from everyone’s phones danced in the air, Tomlinson performed with just as much passion as was reciprocated. The house was on fire (metaphorically) the whole night, even saw teens in the far back of the floor choreographing their own dances to each song. He paid homage to the One Direction days with his own alternative-twist of the songs “Night Changes” & “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” before closing the night off with party rock anthem, “Silver Tongues.” The night was a dazzling jubilee indeed.
