On Sunday, November 24th, Atlanta’s renowned venue The Eastern saw the tenth stop of KISS OF LIFE’s North American tour Kissy Road. The Eastern, which was opened to the public in 2021, has a capacity of 2,200. This show was sold out, and upon the day of the show was packed full of ecstatic fans!

KISS OF LIFE is a Korean pop group consisting of four members: Julie, Natty, Belle, and Haneul. The group, which just made their debut last July, have found incredible success in the global pop-sphere. Their ongoing tour is a wonderful reflection of this. Fans could be seen lining the sidewalk for blocks as they awaited their entrance to the venue.

The show opened with “Get Loud,” followed by their currently trending song “Igloo,” and then “Bad News.” The first three songs were energetic and were very obviously all fan favorites. They served to hype up the crowd and bring the already high energy levels even higher. The choreography for these songs were full of movement, and many of the audience members danced along to their favorite parts. This was incredibly fun to see. After a short talk break, the quartet surprised the audience with “Wine House.” This song was received with a lot of excitement from the crowd and was characterized but fun layering of vocals and rap. After “Wine House” came “Chemistry,” which showcased this group’s vocal talent and stage presence. The chorus of this song stood out as a personal favorite.

Another talk break came immediately after, during which the four girls interacted with the audience and participated in a few Atlanta traditions at the request of the crowd. They asked for all of the people present named ‘Alex’ to raise their hands, and then began the song ‘Too Many Alex.” This song had super cute choreography and was met with a lot of enthusiasm.

The crowd was kept entertained during the short change break that followed by a unique audio skit which was meant to sound like the members’ mics were left on while they talked about how much fun they were having back stage. They also sang a little portion of Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.,” which includes the lyrics, “Kissy Face, Kissy Face.” This was a cute touch as KISS OF LIFE’s fans are called Kissy!

After a talk break was “Te Quiero,” which quickly became another personal favorite after hearing it live. The song itself is catchy and was performed impeccably. The choreography was visually appealing and included the use of fans, making it different from the other choreography in the show. This song was a great showcase of Belle’s ability to harmonize.

There was another quick change, and then the members did something that made this concert especially fun for the audience— they chose a fan to bring on stage for “Nobody Knows.” The fan they chose was absolutely ecstatic and new all of the words and choreography, so the members seemed to have a great time interacting with her. The fan got to sit in a chair that was moved around by the group, quite literally involving her in their performance. This was such a unique idea and was so cool to see. They also danced the chorus of “Igloo” with the fan, and after she returned to her spot in the audience, they filmed a TikTok with the audience which can be found here.

Next came “Gentleman,” which was opened by Julie and then was followed by Natty, Haneul, and finally Belle with an impressive high note. The crowd was super into this song and the high energy choreography. This song in particular showed off each member’s individual unique talents. They took another break to chat real quick before revitalizing the energy into another one of their viral songs, “Sticky.” The members talked about how special this song is to them as it was their first music show win and got them a lot of recognition. “Sticky,” which has over 101 million streams on Spotify, is a definite fan favorite. This song earned the loudest cheers.

After “808” was performed, they surprised the audience with another song they haven’t done live this tour titled “Says It.” Belle & Haneul shined during this one. Soon after came the track “Nothing,” which showcased Natty’s consistent vocal talent and created great vibes from the fans. The girls took one last talk break to say their ending farewells and tease the final few songs and encore. They followed this talk break with yet another viral song, “Midas Touch.” This was brought in with a cool intro and showcased the iconic choreography. This was a very enjoyable live rendition.
They finished up the main show with “Shhh,” another personal favorite. This song had a lot of energetic choreography and member interaction. The charisma here was undeniable. The members waved their goodbyes and left the stage. However, the show was not quite over yet. After chanting from the audience, they returned for four more songs!

The first of the final four songs was “Bye My Neverland.” This song is unlike a lot of KISS OF LIFE’s discography, but it was a beautiful song nonetheless and really gave the members a moment to slow down and just enjoy themselves. The staff brought out balloons that spelled out ‘404’, which is Atlanta’s area code, and took some photos of the group with the audience behind them. This was such a unique touch. Following the photo, came “No One But Us,” and then finally they played their final song of the night, “Back To Me.” This song had a lot of audience interaction, and the girls wore gifts from the fans. This was overall a sweet experience, and the members genuinely seemed to be having a good time together.

Without a doubt, KISS OF LIFE is a group that will continue to make waves as they push forward in their career. There are still four more North American dates, so if any of them happen to pass through your city, the tickets are well worth it! This show is not one you want to miss. If you are not a big fan before you attend, you certainly will be when you leave. This group’s passion, talent, and energy is undeniable. If you have the opportunity to see them live, don’t pass it up.
