Junior H returned to San Antonio, bringing his Sad Boyz Mania 2024 tour to the Frost Bank Center, and this time it was bigger and better than ever. This was his third stop on the tour, and after receiving negative feedback from his previous shows for leaving without saying goodbye to the crowd and not interacting enough, I can confidently say that none of these issues were present during his San Antonio performance.

After his 2019 show, Junior H received criticism about the San Antonio crowd being "dry" and not singing along. However, this time, the energy at the Frost Bank Center was electric. The audience was dancing, and Junior H was clearly feeding off their energy, dancing and moving around the stage with enthusiasm. Junior H made a grand entrance as large monitor screens lifted from the stage. From the beginning, the show was filled with smoke, confetti, and an impressive amount of pyro, setting the tone for an unforgettable night of corridos belicos and corridos tumbados. One of the highlights of the night was when Junior H performed "Lady Gaga," a hit song he recorded with Peso Pluma and Gabito Ballesteros. The crowd erupted into cheers and screams, singing their hearts out. The atmosphere was electric, and the energy was palpable as everyone joined in on the chorus. The sheer volume of the crowd's enthusiasm was overwhelming and made this moment one of the most memorable of the night.

During a quick intermission, Junior H took a moment to sing "Happy Birthday" and bring out a cake for one of his band members. This was a wonderful way to interact with the crowd and showcased what a genuinely awesome person he is. As the tour is titled Sad Boyz, there were moments when he played songs like “Y Lloro” and “Tres Botellas” that had the crowd in their feels, singing at the top of their lungs, “Baby, te juro que me siento solo.”

This show was a great upgrade from his previous performances, and I highly recommend going to see Junior H live.
