San Antonio, Texas— The energy was electrifying as Grupo Frontera returned to the Alamo City for the second leg of their highly anticipated El Comienzo tour and the Freeman Coliseum was pulsating with energy as fans filled the venue to capacity. Tickets for the highly anticipated concert had sold out within hours of going live, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of music & celebration. 

The evening kicked off with a compelling video chronicling Grupo Frontera's journey, giving the audience a glimpse into the band's history and identity. As the video concluded, the stage came alive, and the crowd erupted in cheers as Grupo Frontera burst onto the scene with one of their earliest hits, "No Se Va." The coliseum was instantly transformed into a dance floor, with fans on their feet, moving to the infectious beats and singing along with fervor. The group's infectious energy was palpable from the outset, as each member took the stage, showcasing their passion for music and connection with their fans. One of the lead singers playfully  exclaimed, "I promise you we will all be drunk by the end of this show." This candid comment only fueled the crowd's enthusiasm, and the band's interactions with the audience added a personal touch that resonated deeply.

Throughout the concert, the members of Grupo Frontera engaged the audience with waves, nods, and shout-outs, ensuring that every corner of the coliseum felt included in the musical celebration. After one of their songs, a spirited shout of "Puro 956 compadres" rang through the venue, igniting cheers from those who proudly identify with the Rio Grande Valley in Texas Amidst a seamless transition between songs, a lighthearted moment unfolded as one of the vocalists turned towards Payo, the lead vocalist. With a playful grin, he recalled a bus ride conversation where Payo had exclaimed that the women of San Antonio were nothing short of  breathtaking. As if to underline the sentiment, the opening chords of "Quédate Conmigo"  began to resonate, carrying everyone into a soulful performance that perfectly captured the essence of the night. During an intermission, a video celebrated the Mexican work ethic and honored iconic Mexican  artists who blazed a trail for future musicians. This tribute resonated deeply with the audience, who showed their appreciation through thunderous applause and cheers. In homage to the  legendary Selena Quintanilla, the band passionately covered "Como La Flor," capturing the spirit of the late singer's music and reigniting fond memories. Grupo Frontera's tribute to Selena continued with a captivating remix, drawing the crowd into a lively dance. The celebration of Mexican musical heritage didn't stop there, as the band paid homage to Ramon Ayala with an electrifying performance of one of his timeless classics.

The first notes of "x100to," a hit song featuring the Bad Bunny, reverberated through the air. The effect was immediate—fans surged to their feet, their energy renewed as the music coursed through the arena, with the anticipation and excitement palpable among the fans. And then, in an explosion of energy, Grupo Frontera returned with full force. The stage was bathed in dynamic lights, a confetti cannon erupted, showering the venue with a vibrant cascade of confetti. It was a sight to behold, a testament to the unity and exhilaration that coursed through every corner of the Freeman Coliseum. As "x100to" the arena transformed into a swirling dance floor, with fans of all ages & backgrounds joining together.
