CRSSD Festival (Fall) 2023 truly was the place to be this past weekend in beautiful Downtown San Diego. House and Techno fans alike all gathered at Waterfront Park for two days to experience some of the best current DJs and Electronic artists, of course great vibes on the dance floor, and plenty of tasty food and beverages to keep the party going. This year's lineup had some heavy hitters like Chris Lake and Cloonee who performed at The Palms which pulled some massive crowds on Saturday night at the smaller “house music” stage.Over at the other stage where the BPMs are high and the bass is boomin, The City Steps also had some incredible DJs that kept the techno fans dancing all day and night! FJAAK and Charlotte de Witte were the two highlights of the weekend at the City Steps from what we experienced. While both The Palms and City Steps had plenty of acts to keep you busy all weekend, you can’t forget about the Ocean View stage which has views only seen at CRSSD Fest! With the ocean actually in view, the Ocean View stage was graced with many talented artists throughout each day, with the headliners being Underworld Saturday night and Flume closing out the fest on Sunday night with easily the biggest crowd at the main stage all weekend. Although not a headliner, SG Lewis’s hybrid DJ set on the Ocean View stage right before Flume was epic to say the least!
Our feet and legs may be sore from dancing all weekend long but the memories make it all worth it! Being under that beautiful California sun, enjoying some live house and techno all day long and dancing the night away are only a few reasons we all love CRSSD Fest. This year was definitely one of the best, if not the best years at CRSSD Fest in our experience and with that said we can’t wait until the next!
