Becky G brought her Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo tour to the Boeing Center at Tech Port, and even though this tour revisits much of her 2023 Mi Casa, Tu Casa setlist, her San Antonio fans still turned out in full force to show their love for the artist.

As Becky G hit the stage with her massive hit “Mayores.” Her visually captivating set a two-story house in keeping with the “Mi Casa, Tu Casa” theme created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made fans feel right at home. Becky shone in a vibrant white outfit, captivating the audience authenticity. One of the most heartfelt moments came when Becky G paused to connect with her fans, taking time to read signs held up by concert goers and sharing a few personal interactions. She even invited a lucky fan on stage to sing a song with her creating a memorable experience that celebrated the bond she’s built with her fans.

The emotional depth of the night reached its peak with the song “Querido Abuelo.” Becky G opened up about her experiences navigating her dual Mexican-American identity, speaking to the struggle of feeling “too Mexican to be American or too American to be Mexican.” Her latest album, Esquinas, delves into this theme, embracing her identity as a “200 percenter” and resonating deeply with her San Antonio audience, where Latino pride is strong and celebrated. As the night continued, Becky paid homage to her idol, Selena Quintanilla, performing beloved hits “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” The crowd lit up with excitement, dancing and singing along, creating a magical moment of unity and nostalgia that filled the venue. With dynamic backup dancers and wardrobe changes that showcased Latino culture, Becky’s performance left the entire theater, from the side balconies to the upper levels, dancing with unbridled pride and joy.

Becky G closed the show with her classic hit “Shower,” leaving the fans wanting for more as she didn’t play some of her hit songs. The Casa Gomez: Otro Capítulo tour proved to be a celebration of identity, culture, and connection, a night that left a lasting impression on Becky G’s fans and reminded everyone that music transcends borders.
