Last Friday, The Sinclair in Cambridge welcomed the wonderfully versatile jazz artist from London, Nubya Garcia. The venue was filled with fans of all ages & backgrounds, gathered for one night of magical music. Garcia certainly delivered with a full set filled with rhythmic bass plucks & lively keys that complemented her classic jazz vocals perfectly. Her latest LP, Odyssey, was showcased during her set as she included standout tracks, “Odyssey” & “Solstice.” Garcia chatted with the audience in between songs & even stayed after the show by merchandise to meet with fans— each attendee evidently aware that Garcia is on the rise of something big in her career.
