Molly Grace Lights Up The Sinclair in Hometown Show
Molly Grace delivered an unforgettable performance at The Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on February 28, 2025. The sold-out crowd was treated to an evening of heartfelt melodies and local flair.
The night began with Claire Ernst, a fellow Belmont University alum, who took the stage with a minimalist setup; her vocals accompanied only by her own keyboard and an electric bassist. In a moment of vulnerability, Claire teared up when mentioning this was the largest audience she'd ever faced, a milestone moment in her career. Her blend of pop and R&B styles served as the perfect setup for the headliner.
The headliner, Molly Grace, basked in the warmth of her hometown support. While her setlist mirrored that of her tour, she added a special touch with "Red Line," a song rich in Boston references that resonated deeply with the audience. The crowd's enthusiastic sing-along underscored the song's local significance.
The Sinclair, with a capacity of just over 500, was packed to the brim, and was a bit too small a venue for an artist of her popularity. Still, this intimate setting allowed fans to connect personally with her, making the night all the more special for anyone in attendance.
If Molly Grace continues on this trajectory, it's only a matter of time before she graces the stages of larger venues, bringing her authentic and positive sound to an even broader audience.
