Dark eyeliner, platform boots and excited fans filled Melbourne’s iconic Forum Theatre as Maggie Lindemann brought her ‘I Feel Everything’ tour to Melbourne for a night of emotion and explosive energy.
Having seen Maggie perform previously, the growth in her stage presence was immediately noticeable. From the moment she walked on stage, she entered the room with confidence that matched the heavier direction of her music. Dressed in black heels and a soft blue mini dress that perfectly reflected the aesthetic of the I Feel Everything era. She balanced vulnerability and edge throughout the show. Her live vocals were stronger than ever.
What elevated the performance even further was the production and lighting. The set avoided too many flash effects, instead focused on moody colours and backlighting that lifted the emotion of each song. Reds took over heavier tracks like “Break me,” “Knife Under My Pillow” and “Crash And Burn” while softer moments were using light blues and white lighting.
The visual choices of the night matched Maggie’s aesthetic perfectly. Dark, dramatic and emotionally charged without feeling like too much, even the crowd reflected the same aesthetic, with fans dressed in entirely black outfits and alternative inspired style to fit with Maggie’s early career era.
Tracks from the new album blended seamlessly with older songs, showcasing how much she has evolved musically. The combination of beautifully sung vocals with punk pop and rock instruments gave the show an energy that kept the audience locked in.
By the final song Forum Theatre was still buzzing with high energy. Maggie Lindemann proved not only how far she has come as a live performer, but also why she continues to resonate with fans who connect so deeply with her music.
