Irish rock band, Inhaler, finally made their live debut in Boston this week after a few years of rescheduling & conflicts. Well, it was certainly worth the wait. No better place in America to celebrate the Irish than in the heart of Boston, as they sold out two nights at Cambridge’s Sinclair. High anticipation was evident in the line of fans wrapped around the block & down the street several hours before doors even opened despite the August heat. Before you know it, the venue was filled to the brim with an ecstatic crowd, shouting back the lyrics from tracks featured on their debut LP released last year, It Won’t Always Be Like This. An album that was put together mostly during the pandemic with some songs inspired by existential uncertainty of the world, finally brought to fruition in one unforgettable performance & catharsis. With night one complete, it was inevitable night two would be just as much of a success. While they’ve just wrapped up a plethora of gigs in America, they’re just getting started overseas as they’ll participate in various festivals spanning from Romania to Japan. In the meantime, we will be sending them our Boston-Irish gratitude as they rise to rockstardom.
