The legendary New York City summer festival, Governors Ball Music Festival, made a grand return on the second weekend of June. Although there were reservations at the very beginning of the weekend with passing Canadian wildfire smoke, the festival proceeded after confirming that the grounds would be safe enough for everyone to attend. And boy, did everyone attend! Each day had a plethora of artists of all genres— something for everyone’s taste. Headlining acts like Lizzo, Kendrick Lamar & ODESZA all left an incredible mark on the crowd after each performance. We also made sure to catch several other artists lighting up the stage including Rina Sawayama, Sofi Tukker & Finneas. Although, exhausted; we happily pulled through the weekend of jam-packed entertainment & would do it again 100 times more.
