Sunday Funday? More like Sunday Rage-Day when British Christian metalcore band Confessions of a Traitor brought a stacked bill to Greenville, South Carolina's Radio Room on June 15th!

While metal and rock music can often get a reputation for being anti-Christian and religious, there's plenty of bands that intertwine faith and metalcore with Confessions of a Traitor and their bill companions Meadows and No Treaty being shining examples.

Funnily enough, it's not readily apparent that the band has faith roots unless you're doing a deep dive into their lyrics. Their screams and breakdowns are akin to typical non-religious bands and their generously sized crowd sported a wide variety of religious and non-religious t-shirts and hats.

The lead singer of No Treaty shared his religious testimony with the crowd and just about every band ended their set with a "God Bless." Their faith could be felt through their performances, but never felt stifling.

Whether you're a believer or not, it would be very remiss of you to miss this band if they come through your town. With carefully chosen locals to a powerful headlining performance that transcends borders, a Confessions of a Traitor live show just might cause you to drop to your knees in thanks...or forgiveness for falling in the mosh pit.
