British pop rockstar, beabadoobee, finished off her US tour in Boston last night with a bang. Fans started lining up for the show several hours before doors; which, in this New England winter chill, shows true dedication. All equipment displayed on stage had its own designated stuffed animal; fans bringing their own as well, creating a whimsical slumber party vibe. She kicked off her set with songs from her past 3 LPs: “10:36,” “Apple Cider,” & “Care,” catering to all fan eras. It was only right to pay homage to her latest album, Beatopia, so tracks like “Sunny Day,” “The Perfect Pair,” & “See You Soon” were performed with just as much passion as the ‘oldies.’ beabadoobee owned the stage, even when she was stationed with a guitar, she made sure to take moments of stepping out closer to the audience feeding off of their energy. This energy was built up so much that she ended up laying down in the audience towards the end of the set as if she were a crowdsurfer, displaying both the emotional & physical support from her fans. After a summer full of shows with pop singer Halsey this year & a slew of future tour dates with Taylor Swift next year, beabadoobee has proven to be a musical force to be reckoned with.
